Ingredients

Garlic Yoghurt

  • 500g Greek yoghurt
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely grated
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Salt, to taste

Spiced Beef

  • 450g beef mince
  • 1 medium onion, finely diced
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Paprika Butter

  • 60g butter
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika

To Serve

  • 350g cooked pasta (penne or fusilli work well)
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Feta cheese, crumbled
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Method

1. Prepare the Garlic Yoghurt

In a bowl, combine the Greek yoghurt, garlic, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth and set aside.

2. Cook the Spiced Beef

In a large frying pan over medium heat, sauté the onion for 2–3 minutes until soft. Add paprika, garlic powder, and cumin, stirring for another 2 minutes to bring out the aroma. Add the mince and cook until browned (around 10 minutes). Stir in tomato paste, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for a further 2–3 minutes.

3. Make the Paprika Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter on low heat. Add the paprika and stir until it begins to bubble gently. Remove from heat.

4. Assemble the Pasta

Place the cooked pasta on a serving plate or in bowls. Spoon over the garlic yoghurt, then top with the spiced beef. Drizzle the paprika butter generously over the top.

5. Add Final Toppings

Finish with halved cherry tomatoes, crumbled feta, and chopped parsley. Serve warm and enjoy immediately!
